1. Introduction

Congratulations on your purchase of the James Joshua Day-Date Watch. This timepiece offers precision, durability, and timeless style with its stainless steel construction and day-date function. Please take the time to read this manual to ensure you enjoy your watch to its fullest potential.

2. Setting the Time and Date

Your James Joshua watch features a multi-position crown for easy adjustment of the time and date.

-Position 0: Crown fully pushed in (normal operation).
-Position 1: Crown halfway pulled out (for date adjustment).
- Position 2: Crown fully pulled out (for time adjustment).

Steps to Change the Time
1. Gently pull the crown to **Position 2**.
2. Rotate the crown clockwise or counterclockwise to set the correct time.
3. Push the crown back to **Position 0** to confirm and resume normal operation.

Steps to Change the Date
1. Gently pull the crown to **Position 1**.
2. Rotate the crown clockwise to advance the date.
-Important: Do not adjust the date between **9 PM and 3 AM** as this may damage the watch movement.
3. Push the crown back to **Position 0** to confirm the change.



3. Adjusting the Strap Links

Your James Joshua watch comes with a link removal tool to help you adjust the bracelet length for a perfect fit. Follow the steps below carefully.

Steps to Remove Links:

1. Identify the Removable Links
- On the inside of the bracelet/strap, small arrows indicate which direction the pins should be pushed out.


2. Position the Strap in the Tool
- Place the bracelet/strap into the provided link removal tool, aligning the pinhole with the tool's push pin.
- Turn the tool’s adjustment knob carefully to push the pin out in the direction indicated by the arrows.
- Ensure the pin is aligned properly to avoid damaging the pin or the tool.


3. Remove and Reinsert Pins
- Once the desired number of links has been removed, reinsert the pin in the same direction it was removed.
- If the pin sticks out slightly, use the base of the tool to gently press or hammer it all the way in.


Important Notes
- Handle the bracelet and tool with care to prevent scratches or damage.
- Keep any removed links and pins in a safe place in case they are needed later.

4. Care and Maintenance

Water Resistance:
- The James Joshua watch is water-resistant up to **5 ATM**, meaning it can withstand light splashes, rain, and brief immersion in water. However, avoid wearing the watch while swimming, diving, or showering.

Cleaning:
- Clean the stainless steel case and strap with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt or smudges. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive materials, or solvents.

Battery Replacement:
- The battery should be replaced every 2–3 years or as needed by a professional watch technician.
